The steam table on The Comet hot dog cart consists of two big cast iron burners with its own shut off valve. The steam table accommodates two half size pans and two third size pans. Other configurations are available. You can steam your buns, heat up the chili, sauerkraut and cheese. You can also steam your hot dogs; keep your grill onions warm, etc. The steam table includes two half size pans six inches deep with solid lids and two third size pans six inches deep with solid lids. All pans and lids are NSF approved and listed, also removable for easy cleaning.
The Comet hot dog cart has four sinks with hot and cold pressurized water. The standard water capacity is 5 gallon fresh water tank and 7 gallon disposed water tank. Capacity can be upgraded.
The stainless steel beverages bin on The Comet hot dog cart has its own drain and is insulated to maximize the life of the ice. It holds 142 cans. The lid is hinged.
The two burners on the steam table of The Comet hot dog cart run on propane, which is stored neatly and easily-accessible in a double cylinder hold down rack in the front part of the cart on top of the tow bar. The propane line has a dual stage regulator that insures you never run out of propane during an event.
The Comet hot dog cart has two large customer service windows for a fast and easy service. Optional screens are available if required. The sliding windows have lockable latches for security.
The Comet hot dog cart is equipped with a full size hinged awning to provide customers cover from the rain or the sun. The awning has lockable latches for security.
The Comet hot dog cart comes standard with a 12v fan ceiling vent to circulate air and to keep the interior ventilated without compromising security. Wedge-shaped, white plastic vent cover opens and closes with a hand-operated crank. The switch to turn the fan on/off is mounted on the vent.
The access door in The Comet hot dog cart is in the back of the cart and comes with key locks for security.
The Comet hot dog cart has a back to front outside shelf to set napkin dispensers, condiment trays, and to assist customers.
The Comet hot dot cart is built to last and to provide years of reliable service. The main frame of the trailer consist of a welded super duty tubular (2” x 2” x ¼”) structure treated with rust resistant protective coating. The DOT certified radial tires (12”), springs and axle make the trailer safe for towing at highway speeds. This cart has enough room for two people to work comfortably.
The towing bar hitch on The Comet hot dog cart is equipped with a 2″ ball coupler with two safety chains.
The lights on The Comet hot dog cart are tail, stop, signals and hazards. The wiring harness for the lights is male. The lights come with a license plate holder.
WHEEL LEVELING JACK
Keep The Comet hot dog cart on the level with this easy-to-use 1000 lb. capacity swing-back trailer jack. With the swing-back style there’s no need to remove the jack when hauling the hot dog cart, just fold it back and away. The trailer jack has a side crank handle to level it.
The brochure contains the information need it by Health Departments to pre-approve your hot dog cart and after a physical inspection get you the final approval for the Mobile Food License.

Schematics allow you to see the location of all significant parts and equipment and the overall dimensions of the hot dog cart. They are available in three different views (top, left and right).
